Chocolate mocha cookies

Yield: 40 Servings

Measure Ingredient
½ cup Margarine
2 ounces Unsweetened chocolate
1½ cup Flour
½ teaspoon Baking powder
½ teaspoon Baking soda
¼ teaspoon Salt
1 cup Brown sugar; packed
½ cup Buttermilk
1 large Egg
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 cup Chocolate chips
½ cup Walnuts; chopped
¼ cup Margarine; softened
2 tablespoons Cocoa
2½ cup Powdered sugar
2 teaspoons Instant coffee
1 dash Salt
¼ cup Milk; approximately

FROSTING

Cookies: Melt margarine & chocolate together. Cool. 10 minutes. Add brown sugar to chocolate mixture. Add egg, vanilla & buttermilk. Add dry ingredients. Stir in chips & nuts. Drop on lightly greased cookie sheets.

Bake 375F for 8 - 10 minutes. Cool; frost.

Frosting: Blend all ingredients together. Use only enough milk to make frosting spreadable.
