Cheesecake ( appetizer pate )

Yield: 4 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Crushed plain croutons
3 tablespoons Margarine -- melted
1 Envelope unflavored gelatin
½ cup Cold water
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese --
Softened
1 (8 oz.) pkg. braunschweiger
Or liver sausa
¼ cup Mayonnaise
3 tablespoons Chopped pimento
2 tablespoons Grated onion
1 tablespoon Kraft pure prepared mustard
½ teaspoon Lemon juice

Combine croutons and margarine; press onto bottom of 9 inch springform pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

soften gelatin in water; stir over low heat until dissolved. Combine cream cheese and braunschweiger, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer until well blended. Gradually addgelatin. Stir in remaining ingredients until blended; pour over crust. Chill and serve.
