Ingredients

| 1 | pounds | Sharp cheddar cheese |
| ½ | pounds | Butter |
| 3 | cups | Flour |
| 2 | teaspoons | Salt |
| 2 | teaspoons | Baking powder |
| 2 | teaspoons | Cayenne pepper; or more |
Directions
Grate cheese and mix with softened butter. Add sifted dry ingredients. Mix well. Put through a cookie press or roll out thin and cut into strips. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until light brown.
