Measure | Ingredient |

1 pounds | Sharp cheddar cheese |
½ pounds | Butter |
3 cups | Flour |
2 teaspoons | Salt |
2 teaspoons | Baking powder |
2 teaspoons | Cayenne pepper; or more |
Grate cheese and mix with softened butter. Add sifted dry ingredients. Mix well. Put through a cookie press or roll out thin and cut into strips. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until light brown.
