Cabbage n carrots

Yield: 8 servings

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Water
1 cup Milk
3 tablespoons Butter or margarine
2 cups Chopped green cabbage
1 cup Finely shredded carrots
2⅔ cup Instant potato flakes
½ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Pepper

In medium saucepan combine water, milk, and butter. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Add cabbage and carrots and reduce heat to low.

Simmer 3 to 4 minutes until vegetables are tender. Remove from heat and stir in potato flakes with fork until mixture is well blended.

Stir in salt and pepper. 8 servings.
