Blackberry pie #1

Quantity | Ingredient | |
---|---|---|
2 | cups | Blackberries |
1 | cup | Sugar |
1 | cup | Water |
3 | tablespoons | Cornstarch |
Bring to a boil berries, sugar and water. Add cornstarch. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Cover with top crust; bake at 350 degrees until dough is golden brown.
Use sweet dough for crust (see recipe for "Sweet Dough Pie Crust").
This is an old family recipe handed down and used for years by the Bayou Cajuns.
