Black beans and sausage

1canStewed tomatoes -- 14-1/2 OZ
1canBlack beans -- l5 oz.
Undrained
1teaspoonDried oregano
½teaspoonGarlic powder
Salt to taste
cupUncooked instant brown rice
1poundsPork sausage links -- cooked
& sliced

Directions

In a skillet, heat oil. Cook onion until tender. Add the tomataes, beans and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Stir in rice; reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Add sausage and let stand 5 minutes. Yield: 6-8 servings
