Black beans and sausage

| 1 | can | Black beans -- l5 oz. |

| 1 | teaspoon | Dried oregano |
| ½ | teaspoon | Garlic powder |
| Salt to taste | ||
| 1½ | cup | Uncooked instant brown rice |
| 1 | pounds | Pork sausage links -- cooked |
| & sliced | ||
Directions
In a skillet, heat oil. Cook onion until tender. Add the tomataes, beans and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Stir in rice; reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Add sausage and let stand 5 minutes. Yield: 6-8 servings
