Bean, barley & sausage soup

1poundsKidney beans, dry
1packSmoked Polish sausage,sliced
1tablespoonSalt
quartWater
1cupBarley, regular
2xesGarlic cloves; peeled
1xParsely sprigs

Directions

Put rinsed beans in large saucepan. Add water, cover and let stand overnight. Drain off water the next day. Put beans, barley and remaining ingredients into a crock pot. Stir. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours.
