Bara brith

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Plain flour.
\N \N A pinch of salt
4 ounces Granulated sugar
4 ounces Currants
4 ounces Sultanas
4 ounces Large raisins; stoned
4 ounces Lard
\N \N A little chopped candied peel
½ ounce Baker's yeast
1 \N Egg

Preheat the oven to 160 Centigrade (moderate oven). Mix all the dry ingredients and then mix in the egg. Put the mix into a greased baking tin and bake for about an hour, until golden brown on top.
