Ingredients

2teaspoonsBaking powder
1teaspoonBaking soda
½teaspoonGround allspice
4mediumsBananas OR 2 cups mashed bananas
1cupSugar
½cupUnsweetened Apple Sauce
3Egg whites
2tablespoonsVegetable oil
1teaspoonVanilla extract

Directions

Preheat oven to 375F. Spray 8-½ x 4-½ inch loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.

In large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and allspice.

In medium bowl, whisk together bananas, sugar, apple sauce, egg whites and vanilla.

Stir apple sauce mixture into flour mixture just until moistened. Spread banner into prepared pan.

Bake 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Invert onto wire rack; turn right side up. Cool completely. Cut into 16 slices.
