Balkan cornmeal mush (polenta)

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
3 cups Water
1 teaspoon Salt
1 cup Stone ground corn meal
3 tablespoons Chopped fresh dill
4 ounces Crumbled feta cheese
1 cup Tomato sauce
½ \N Lemon; juice of
\N \N Fresh ground black pepper.


Boil water and salt. add stone ground corn meal, cook several minutes.

Stir in chopped fresh dill and feta cheese.

Serve topped with tomato sauce, adjusted as follows: To 1 cup tomato sauce add the juice of ½ lemon plus fresh ground black pepper.
