Baked fresh salmon

3 pounds Salmon piece
1 teaspoon Pepper
3 teaspoons Butter
1 teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Thyme
cup Cream light
3 eaches Onion slices
1 each Garlic clove sliced in qtrs.
2 eaches Cucumber peeled, strip cut
3 eaches Parsley sprigs
1 each Bayleaf

Combine salt, pepper and thyme then rub all sides of the salmon. Melt butter in baking dish then add salmon and coat with the butter. Add light cream, onion slices, parsley, garlic, bayleaf then arrange cucumber strips around the fish. Bake covered for 40 minutes or until center bone can be removed easily. Remove and discard bayleaf, onion, parsley and garlic before serving.
