Ingredients

| ½ | cup | Lard |
| ¼ | cup | Sugar |
| ¼ | cup | Brown sugar |
| 1¼ | cup | Flour |
| 1 | Egg | |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
Directions
Beat lard and sugars together till creamy. Add egg and beat well. Add flour and salt, mix thoroughly. Chill in icebox several hours until firm. Slice with a sharp knife and put on baking sheet and bake in a moderate oven until light brown.
