Prepare tube pan with Pam spray; preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Beat egg whites with cream of tartar till holds shape; add ½ cup sugar. Sift together the flour, 1 cup sugar and the salt. Fold in eggs; add extracts.
Pour into pan and bake until done. (Use egg yolks for custards or Daddy's Hot Water Sponge Cake.)
