Almond butter syrup

1cupLight corn syrup
1cupBrown sugar
½cupWater
¾eachTo 1 tsp almond extract
½teaspoonButter flavor

Directions

In medium saucepan bring corn syrup, brown sugar, and water to a boil. Cook 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Add Almond Extract and butter flavor. Pour into suitable containers and store in refrigerator. Serve over pancakes, waffles, French toast, or hot homemade biscuits. Origin: Watkins Food Gifts Cookbook.
