2 \N | Chicken breasts, split (about 1 1/2 lbs.) |
¼ cup | Apple juice |
¼ cup | Chopped green onion |
¼ cup | Chopped parsley |
In heavy 2 quart saucepan, melt butter. Meanwhile on piece of waxed paper combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, basil, oregano, garlic salt and salt. Dip chicken breasts in melted butter, then roll in crumbs to coat. Place skin side up in ungreased 9 inch square baking dish. Bake near center of 375 degree oven for 50 to 60 minutes or until golden brown and chicken is tender. Meanwhile, add apple juice, green onion and parsley to remaining melted butter. When chicken is golden brown; pour butter sauce mixture around and over chicken. Return to oven for 3 to 5 minutes more just until sauce is hot. Serve with sauce served over chicken.
