1 cup | Cinnamon tea |
1 teaspoon | Cinnamon powder |
1 teaspoon | Salt |
1 teaspoon | Baking powder |
5 pounds | Bag of flour |
1 large | Bag crushed pecans (optional) |
Mix sugar with shortening and cream well. Add cinnamon tea until creamy and start adding cinnamon powder, salt, baking powder. Stir ingredients and make it very creamy. Then start to pour flour in small portions and blend well. Add pecans to dough. Form into several balls. Spread 1 ball between two plastic papers ¼ inch thick. Cut into shapes. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
Prepare a bowl with sugar and cinnamon and powder right off the oven.
