White trash soda cracker pie

Ingredients

| 12 | eaches | Soda crackers, crumbled |
| 1 | cup | Brown sugar |
| 1 | teaspoon | Vanilla extract |
| 12 | eaches | Dates, chopped |
| 3 | eaches | Egg whites |
| 1 | cup | Nut meats, chopped (your choice) |
Directions
Beat the egg whites until foamy. Gradually add the sugar and continue beating until stiff peaks form when beaters are raised out of mixture. Mix the crushed soda crackers with the dates and nuts, and gently fold into the beaten egg white mixture. Pour into a greased pie pan and bake at 350F for about 30 minutes or until brown.
