Uncooked plum pudding

Ingredients

1cupCooked prunes, finely chopped
1cupGrapenuts or rolled graham crackers
2cupsBoiling water
½teaspoonSalt
4tablespoonsGelatin
2tablespoonsCorn sirup
4tablespoonsFruit juice
½cupSugar
½cupFinely shredded citron
1cupRaisins
1tablespoonLemon juice
¼cupCold water
½teaspoonAllspice
1teaspoonCinnamon
2Egg whites, stiffly beaten

Directions

Soften gelatin in cold water. Dissolve in boiling water. Add all ingredients except egg whites. Mix thoroughly. Chill until partially set. Fold in egg whites. Pour into long shallow pan. Chill until firm. Cut in squares with sharp knife. Serve with whipped cream. 8 servings.
