Tig's unsausage and pasta soup

Ingredients

5cupsVegetable broth
1packMorninstar links, sliced
(vegetarian sausage
Substitute)
1mediumOnion, chopped
3Green onions, thinly sliced
1Bell pepper (your choice of
Color), diced
2Bay leaves
½teaspoonLemon pepper (or, some black
Pepper & a dash of lemon
Juice, I suppose)
1Thinly sliced serrano chilis
(or more, or another
Variety, if you
Like)
1cupSmall shell pasta
1cupFrozen peas

Directions

1. In a large pot, combine veg broth, links, onion, green onion, bell pepper, bay leaves, lemon pepper, and serranos. Simmer for 20 minutes.

2. Add pasta shells and simmer another 7 to 9 minutes, until cooked tender.

3. Add peas and heat to warm. Ladle into bowls and serve.
