Texan chili verde

Yield: 6 servings

Measure Ingredient
2 pounds Xtra Lean Boneless Pork, In 1\" Cubes
1 pounds Boneless Beef Chuck, Cut Into 1\" Cubes
1 large Green Bell Pepper, Cored, Seeded & Chopped
2 cloves Garlic, Minced
28 ounces Canned Whole Tomatoes, Mashed
4 ounces Canned green chile peppers, drained, seeded & chopped
2 tablespoons Dried parsley flakes
1 tablespoon Sugar
1 tablespoon Cumin, ground
2 \N Whole cloves
½ cup Beef broth

Combine all the ingredients in the slow cooker. Stir thoroughly.

Cover. Cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours. Adjust seasonings before serving.
