Ingredients

| 1 | pounds | Mild bulk pork sausage | 
| 1½ | tablespoon | Chili powder | 
| 1 | clove | Garlic; minced | 
| 1 | dash | Ground cumin | 
| 1 | dash | Ground oregano | 
| Garnish: parsley sprigs | ||
Directions
Combine first 5 ingredients, mixing well. Shape the patties. Cook in a skillet over medium heat until browned, turning once. Drain well. Garnish, if desired.
Note: to prepare chorizo ahead of time, cook patties until browned; drain. Cover and refrigerate up to two days. Place on a baking sheet, and bake at 300 degrees 10 minutes or until hot.
