Summer shortcake

Measure Ingredient
¼ cup Honey
2 tablespoons Butter; melted
1 pack Frozen pound cake; thawed and cut into
\N \N ; 10 slices (10.75
\N \N ; ounces)
1½ cup Frozen whipped topping; thawed
1 quart Fresh strawberries; washed, hulled, and
\N \N ; sliced
½ pint Fresh blueberries; washed

Preheat the broiler. In a small bowl, combine the honey and butter; mix well. Brush half of the honey mixture over one side of each slice of cake and place coated side up on a baking sheet. Broil for 3 to 5 minutes, or until golden. Carefully turn over the slices and brush the uncoated side with the remaining honey mixture. Broil for 3 to 5 minutes, or until heated through and golden. Place on a large serving platter or individual serving plates and top each with the whipped topping, strawberries, and blueberries.
