Steak & onion salad

4cupsLeaf lettuce; in pieces
1mediumOnion; thinly sliced (2 c)
2cupsCucumber; thinly sliced
1cupSweet red bell pepper; sliced
¼cupOlive oil
3tablespoonsLime juice
¼cupFresh dill; chopped

Directions

Preheat broiler. Season steak with ¼ tsp of the salt and ⅛ teaspoon of the ground black pepper.

Broil 1 to 2 inches from the heat until desired doneness (3 to 4 minutes per side for medium-rare).

Cut into thin slices; cool slightly. Place in a large salad bowl with lettuce, onions, cucumber and red pepper, set aside. In a cup, combine olive oil, lime juice, dill and remaining 1 teaspoon salt and ⅛ teaspoon black pepper; pour over salad; serve immediately.
