Spicy lentil - potato stew

Ingredients

| ½ | cup | Lentils (uncooked) | 
| 1 | cup | Chopped carrots | 
| ¼ | cup | Chopped celery leaves | 
| 3 | Cloves chopped garlic | |
| ½ | teaspoon | Dried basil | 
| 2 | cups | Tomato juice | 
| 2 | mediums | Potatoes (don't peel) (chop into 1/2\" cubes) | 
| ½ | cup | Chopped celery | 
| 1 | tablespoon | Chili powder (or less) | 
| ½ | teaspoon | Dried oregano | 
| ¾ | cup | Water | 
Directions
Throw it all in a large sauce pan, mix it up, and bring it to a boil. 
Cover, reduce heat and simmer til veggies are tender (about 45 minutes). Hope you like it, Michele
