Measure | Ingredient |

½ cup | Lentils (uncooked) |
1 cup | Chopped carrots |
¼ cup | Chopped celery leaves |
3 \N | Cloves chopped garlic |
½ teaspoon | Dried basil |
2 cups | Tomato juice |
2 mediums | Potatoes (don't peel) (chop into 1/2\" cubes) |
½ cup | Chopped celery |
1 tablespoon | Chili powder (or less) |
½ teaspoon | Dried oregano |
¾ cup | Water |
Throw it all in a large sauce pan, mix it up, and bring it to a boil.
