Smoky corn chowder

Ingredients

½cupOnion; chopped
¼cupMargarine
¼cupFlour
4cupsMilk
1can(16 oz) whole kernel corn; drained
1pack(12 oz) smokies; sliced
1can(8 oz) lima beans; drained
1teaspoonSalt
1teaspoonPepper; more or less, to taste

Directions

Cook onion in margarine until soft, not brown; add flour, and spices. Add milk all at once; cook; stir until thick and bubbly. Stir in corn, sausage and limas; simmer 10 minutes.
