½ cup | Onion; chopped |
¼ cup | Margarine |
¼ cup | Flour |
4 cups | Milk |
1 can | (16 oz) whole kernel corn; drained |
1 pack | (12 oz) smokies; sliced |
1 can | (8 oz) lima beans; drained |
1 teaspoon | Salt |
1 teaspoon | Pepper; more or less, to taste |
Cook onion in margarine until soft, not brown; add flour, and spices. Add milk all at once; cook; stir until thick and bubbly. Stir in corn, sausage and limas; simmer 10 minutes.
