Smoky corn chowder

½ | cup | Onion; chopped |
¼ | cup | Margarine |
¼ | cup | Flour |
4 | cups | Milk |
1 | can | (16 oz) whole kernel corn; drained |
1 | pack | (12 oz) smokies; sliced |
1 | can | (8 oz) lima beans; drained |
1 | teaspoon | Salt |
1 | teaspoon | Pepper; more or less, to taste |
Directions
Cook onion in margarine until soft, not brown; add flour, and spices. Add milk all at once; cook; stir until thick and bubbly. Stir in corn, sausage and limas; simmer 10 minutes.
