Smoky corn chowder

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
½ cup Onion; chopped
¼ cup Margarine
¼ cup Flour
4 cups Milk
1 can (16 oz) whole kernel corn; drained
1 pack (12 oz) smokies; sliced
1 can (8 oz) lima beans; drained
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Pepper; more or less, to taste

Cook onion in margarine until soft, not brown; add flour, and spices. Add milk all at once; cook; stir until thick and bubbly. Stir in corn, sausage and limas; simmer 10 minutes.
