3teaspoonsBacking Powder
1teaspoonSalt
1teaspoonSugar
¾cupShortening
cupMilk

Directions

Sift flour and dry ingredients in mixing bowl. Add shortening and milk and work with hands on a lightly floured board. Roll out about ¼ inch thick and cut with a biscuit cutter. Place in a preheated 400 F. oven and bake 10 to 12 minutes till brown. Yields about 20 large biscuits.
