Salsa ranchera

Ingredients

| 2 | tablespoons | oil |
| 2 | eaches | tomatoes, peeled and seeded |
| 1 | teaspoon | salt |
| 2 | teaspoons | freshly ground black pepper |
| 1 | each | pinch of sugar |
| 12 | ounces | can of jalapenos |
| 1 | tablespoon | vinegar |
Directions
Rinse and chop the jalapenos. Heat oil in skillet. Add tomatoes and cook down to thick puree. Season and remove from heat. Add chiles and vinegar, mix well. Makes 1½ cups.
