| 1 | 6 lb. brisket, trimmed | |
| 1 | pack | Kosher onion soup mix 3/4oz. |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Pepper |
| ½ | cup | Water |
| 1 | teaspoon | Salt |
| Garlic salt too taste | ||
Directions
Place brisket fat side up in lge. baking or roasting pan. Bake for 10 min. at 400 F.; then reduce heat to 350 F. Sprinkle meat with soup mix, garlic and seasonings and bake 15 min. Add water, cover pan, and reduce temp. to 325 F. Bake 2 to 2½ hrs. or until meat can be pierced easily with a fork. Thicken drippings with a little flour and serve with brisket.
