Praline pumpkin pie

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 9 Inch Pie Shell -- unbaked
2 Eggs
1 can (16 Oz) Pumpkin
¾ cup Sugar
½ teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
½ teaspoon Ground Ginger
¼ teaspoon Ground Cloves
1⅔ cup Evaporated Milk Or Half-And-Half
Praline Topping -- (see below)

Directions

Prepare pie shell. Heat oven to 425 F. Beat eggs slightly with hand beater; beat in remaining ingredients except Praline Topping. Place pastry-lined pie plate on oven rack; pour in filling. Bake 15 mins.

Reduce oven temperature to 350 F. Bake 35 mins; sprinkle with Praline Topping. Bake until knife inserted in center comes out clean, about 10 mins longer; cool. Serve with sweetened whipped cream, if desired.

PRALINE TOPPING: Mix ½ cup packed brown sugar, ⅓ cup chopped pecans and 1 Tbs margarine or butter, softened.
