3Pounded anchovies or 1 tbsp anchovy paste
4ouncesButter
1pinchMace
Salt and cayenne pepper to taste

Directions

Mix all ingredients, pound well, press into a dish.

Cover with melted butter, chill.

Serve with toast, plain bread or rolls.
