Potatoes with grated cheese (microwave)

Yield: 4 servings

Measure Ingredient
2 tablespoons Butter
\N \N Salt and pepper
1¾ pounds Grated potatoes
1½ cup Grated Cantal or Gruyere cheese
¾ cup Sour cream

Put the butter in a small dish, 9 inches in diameter and melt in the microwave on high for 1 minute. Make sure the butter covers the bottom of the dish.

Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add the potatoes and season with salt and pepper. Pour 1-¼ cups water over. Cover and microwave on High for 8 minutes.

Add the cheese and sour cream to the potatoes. Stir carefully with a fork, making sure that no cheese is left on the surface. Cover and microwave on High for 6 minutes. Serve very hot in the same dish.
