Peanut butter fudge (austin)

Ingredients

| ¾ | cup | Peanut butter |
| ½ | cup | Soft butter or margarine |
| ½ | cup | Light corn syrup |
| 1 | teaspoon | Vanilla |
| ½ | teaspoon | Salt |
| 4 | cups | Sifted confectioners' sugar |
| ¾ | cup | Chopped peanuts, or other nuts |
Directions
Servings: 2 pounds
DIRECTIONS: Mix well: peanut butter, butter, corn syrup, vanilla and salt. Gradually stir in sugar. Knead until smooth. Gradually add nuts. Pack into an 8x8x2" pan. When firm, cut in squares.
