Pat's picante sauce

14ouncesChopped tomatoes with juice OR 1 can recipe ready tomatoes
1Piemento; chopped
2tablespoonsApple cider vinegar; or to taste
1teaspoonJalapeno pepper; diced
1tablespoonSugar; or to taste
Chopped shallots
Salt and pepper
1Clove garlic; minced with
Salt
Pepper; to taste

Directions

Put into a blender and mix all. Adjust seasoning to your taste. Transfer to a glass container. Refrigerate overnight or up to 1 week.
