Pasta with tomatoes and black beans

Yield: 8 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Green onions -- sliced 1/8\"
\N \N Thick
28 ounces Tomatoes, canned -- diced
15 ounces Black beans -- drained
1 can Artichoke hearts -- cut in
\N \N Quarters
1 pounds Pasta -- cooked as directed
1 dash Salt
1 dash Red pepper flakes
¾ teaspoon Oregano
\N \N Freshly ground pepper
2 teaspoons Olive oil
2 \N Cloves garlic -- minced

Cook pasta as directed.

Meanwhile, heat olive oil in the bottom of a medium saucepot. Add green onions and saute for 5 minutes. Add seasonings and stir for 1 minute. Add tomatoes; cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Add black beans, combine and simmer for 5 minutes. Add artichoke hearts. Adjust seasonings and toss with pasta.
