Onions gratin

Ingredients

3poundsRed or white onions
1teaspoonSalt
4tablespoonsVirgin Olive Oil
2tablespoonsBalsamic Vinegar
12Coarsely chopped fresh sage
Leaves
Cracked pepper

Directions

Preheat oven to 350. Spray gratin pan with oil. Slice onions into ¼ inch slices. Separate into rings. Toss in gratin pan with above ingredients.

Cover with foil. Bake for 30 minutes. Stir and recover. Cook 15 more minutes. Stir again and leave uncovered. Cook 15 more minutes. Onions should be brown and caramelized.
