Mrs. miller's blueberry pie

Yield: 8 servings

Measure Ingredient
5 cups Blueberries, fresh; washed and well drained, divided
¾ cup Sugar
¾ cup Water
1 teaspoon Lemon rind; grated
¼ cup Water
¼ cup Sugar
3 tablespoons Cornstarch
\N \N Pie shell, 9\"; baked

In saucepan, combine 1 cup blueberries, ¾ cup sugar, ¾ cup water, and 1 teaspoon lemon rind. Bring mixture to a boil. Mix ¼ cup water, ¼ cup sugar, and cornstarch and add to hot mixture. Cook until clear and thick. Cool. Pour thickened mixture over 4 cups blueberries in baked pie shell. Chill until ready to serve.
