1 | cup | Orange juice |
1 | cup | Water |
1 | teaspoon | Salt |
¼ | teaspoon | White pepper |
¼ | teaspoon | Onion powder |
¼ | cup | Butter |
¾ | cup | Honey |
1 | tablespoon | All-purpose flour |
Directions
In a large pot, combine the carrots and all of the potatoes. Add the orange juice, water, salt, pepper, and onion powder. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and add the butter and honey. Simmer, uncovered for 1½ hours or until the vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle in the flour and continue simmering for 3-5 minutes, until slightly thickened.
