1 cup Flour -- sifted
⅛ teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Baking powder
4 \N Egg yolks
1 cup Powdered sugar
4 tablespoons Ice water
1 tablespoon Coffee essence
1 teaspoon Vanilla
4 \N Egg whites -- stiffly
\N \N Beaten
3 cups Whipped cream
2 tablespoons Confectioners' sugar
1 tablespoon Coffee essence

FILLING

Sift the flour, salt and baking powder 3 times. Beat the egg yolks; gradually add the sugar, beating until thick and light in color.
