1can(16-oz) red kidney beans, drained
1can(10-oz) package frozen corn
1tablespoonButter or margarine
Salt and pepper to taste
1pinchMace (or nutmeg)

Directions

This can also be referred to as succotash, and was passed along to the settlers by Native American Indians.

Cook the kidney beans and corn together. Add the butter, salt, pepper, and mace. Serve hot as a side.
