Mashed turnip

Ingredients

| 1 | pounds | Turnip, peeled, boiled & mashed |
| 2 | tablespoons | Ghee |
| ½ | teaspoon | Grated ginger |
| 1 | medium | Onion, finely chopped |
| 2 | mediums | Tomatoes, quartered |
| 2 | eaches | Green chilies, chopped |
| ½ | teaspoon | Cumin |
| 1 | teaspoon | Garam masala |
| Salt | ||
| 1 | pinch | Sugar |
| 1 | tablespoon | Cilantro |
Directions
Heat ghee in a skillet. Saute ginger & onion till golden. Add tomatoes, chilies, cumin & garam masala. Mix in turnip, add salt & blend.
Keep pan over moderate heat & stir for about 10 minutes. Add sugar & blend again. Serve hot, topped with cilantro.
