2 larges | Sweet potatoes; peeled, cubed |
4 larges | Carrots; peeled, sliced |
2 \N | Garlic cloves; peeled |
¼ cup | Whipping cream |
2 tablespoons | Butter |
\N \N | Salt; to taste |
\N \N | Freshly-ground black pepper; to taste |
Cook potatoes, carrots and garlic in large pot of boiling salted water until very tender. Drain; return to same pot. Mash with potato masher. Add cream and butter and mash until smooth and creamy. Season to taste with salt and pepper. This recipe yields 6 servings.
