Linsensuppe (lentil soup)

| 1 | cup | Lentils; (washed) |
| 6 | cups | Water; (approximately) |
| 3 | Beef bouillon cubes | |
| 1 | Clove garlic; (chopped fine) | |
| 1 | Carrot; (diced) | |
| 1 | Celery stalk; (diced) | |
| 1 | tablespoon | Parsley; (chopped) |
| 3 | larges | Potatoes |
| 2 | tablespoons | Vinegar |
| Salt and pepper to taste | ||
Directions
Add the water to the washed lentils and bring to a boil. Add boullion cubes, garlic, celery, carrot, parsley and simmer for about 1½ hours.
Add potatoes and boil for addional 30 minutes. Add vinegar; salt and pepper to taste.
