Lamb and cabbage (far i kal)

Ingredients

| 2 | pounds | Lean lamb, cubed |
| ¼ | cup | Butter |
| 1½ | teaspoon | Salt |
| 2 | teaspoons | Peppercorns |
| 2 | cups | Water |
| 1 | Cabbage, cut in eights, cored | |
| ¾ | cup | Dairy sour cream |
Directions
Brown lamb cubes in butter. Add seasonings and water. Cover. Simmer for 45 minutes. Add cabbage. Cook for 15-20 minutes. Add sour cream. Reheat, but do not boil. serves 6
