Ingredients

poundsGround beef or lamb
1Onion; minced
½teaspoonCinnamon
1teaspoonPaprika
1teaspoonPowdered cumin
½teaspoonGround coriander
2tablespoonsChopped parsley
1teaspoonOregano
1tablespoonZataar
Wooden skewers dampened in lemon juice
Salt and pepper; to taste
2tablespoonsOlive oil
Olive oil for basting

Directions

1. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly.

2. Divide mixture among skewers and shape them like sausage around skewer.

3. Baste koftas with olive oil

4, Barbecue for about 25 minutes.
