Italian sausage stew

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 pounds Italian sausage; cut in 1 inch Piece
1 large Onion; sliced
4 Carrots; cleaned and cubed
4 mediums Potatoes; cut in
1 Inch cubes
1 can Peas; (10 oz.) don't drain
1 can Tomato sauce; (8 oz.)
Salt and pepper to taste

In a large pot, brown sausage on all sides. Remove sausage from pot. In sausage drippings, saute onions until partially cooked. Add potatoes, carrots and tomato sauce. Simmer for 15 minutes, then add sausage and season to taste. Cook with cover tilted until vegetables and sausage are done. Add can of peas and juice; cook until peas are hot. Great on cold winter days. Serves 4.
