Indonesian tofu w/peanut butter

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Tofu -- medium or firm
¼ cup Peanut butter -- creamy water
2 tablespoons Soy sauce
2 teaspoons Lemonjuice
2 teaspoons Honey or maple syrup
¼ teaspoon Garlic powder
¼ teaspoon Ginger
1 tablespoon Onion -- grated

slice tofu ito ½-inch slices. DRain between layers of towels. Place tofu in a single layer in a 7 x 11-inch baking pan In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Mix with a fork or wire whsk until wel-blended.

Sprad mixture evenlyover tofu. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator and let stand at room temperature 30 minutes.

Preheat oven to 350 deg.

Bake tofu, uncovered, 15 minutes. Then place uner broiler and broil until nicely browned.
