Iced soup of berries

Measure Ingredient
50 grams Sugar
200 millilitres Sweet wine
½ \N Lemon; juice of
1 \N Vanilla pod
2 pounds Selection of summer berries
100 millilitres Champagne; (sparkling wine will
\N \N ; do)
\N \N Mint leaves to garnish
100 millilitres Red wine

Bring to the boil the sweet wine, red wine, caster sugar, lemon juice and vanilla pod.

Add the berries and refrigerate for 24 hours.

To serve, splash on the champagne and garnish with mint.
