Honey spiced quail

Measure Ingredient
8 \N Quails; halved and boned 8
¼ cup Honey 50 mL
¼ cup Soy sauce 50 mL
1 teaspoon Hot chili paste 5 mL
1 teaspoon 5 spice powder 5 mL
1 bunch Fresh Italian parsley 1

MARINADE

Pat quail dry and place in a shallow baking dish.

Combine honey with soy sauce, hot chili paste, 5 spice powder and cilantro in a small bowl. Pour over quails and rub in well. Allow to marinate in the refrigerator a few hours.

Cook on the barbecue, in a grill pan or under the broiler for about 5 minutes per side or until just cooked through.

Arrange parsley on serving platter and place quail on top.
