Yield: 4 Servings
|1||15 Oz Kidney Beans, Canned; Rinsed And Drained|
|1||14 1/2 Oz Ca Tomatoes, Stewed; Cut Up|
|2 cups||Mixed Vegetables, Frozen|
|¾ cup||Brown Rice, Instant|
|½ teaspoon||Thyme; Crushed|
|3 dashes||Tabasco Sauce|
|1 can||Condensed Toamtoe Soup|
|⅓ cup||Slivered Almonds; Toasted|
|⅓ cup||Cheddar Cheese, Shredded|
In a large skillet stir together beans, undrained tomatoes, vegetables, water, uncooked rice, thyme and Tabasco Sauce. Bring to a boil, reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 12 to 14 minutes or until rice is tender. Stir in soup; heat through.
Before serving; stir in almonds and sprinkle with cheese. Makes 4 servings.
