1 \N | 14 1/2 Oz Ca Tomatoes, Stewed; Cut Up |
2 cups | Mixed Vegetables, Frozen |
⅔ cup | Water |
¾ cup | Brown Rice, Instant |
½ teaspoon | Thyme; Crushed |
3 dashes | Tabasco Sauce |
1 can | Condensed Toamtoe Soup |
⅓ cup | Slivered Almonds; Toasted |
⅓ cup | Cheddar Cheese, Shredded |
In a large skillet stir together beans, undrained tomatoes, vegetables, water, uncooked rice, thyme and Tabasco Sauce. Bring to a boil, reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 12 to 14 minutes or until rice is tender. Stir in soup; heat through.
Before serving; stir in almonds and sprinkle with cheese. Makes 4 servings.
