Hearty rice skillet

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 15 Oz Kidney Beans, Canned; Rinsed And Drained
1 14 1/2 Oz Ca Tomatoes, Stewed; Cut Up
2 cups Mixed Vegetables, Frozen
⅔ cup Water
¾ cup Brown Rice, Instant
½ teaspoon Thyme; Crushed
3 dashes Tabasco Sauce
1 can Condensed Toamtoe Soup
⅓ cup Slivered Almonds; Toasted
⅓ cup Cheddar Cheese, Shredded

In a large skillet stir together beans, undrained tomatoes, vegetables, water, uncooked rice, thyme and Tabasco Sauce. Bring to a boil, reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 12 to 14 minutes or until rice is tender. Stir in soup; heat through.

Before serving; stir in almonds and sprinkle with cheese. Makes 4 servings.
